On the 11th of September 2017 with a four-day visit our strategic donor came to the center «Sezim» – Social investor Mr. Werner Blatter – a Representative of DIMES Foundation.
Within the framework of the visit, events are planned, including visits to the Shelter, Transit Social House, a number of state, public and international organizations.
DIMES Foundation has been working with the center «Sezim» for 9 years and provides substantive support in the field of protection from gender-based, domestic violence and human trafficking.
On September 12, Mr. Werner took part in a tour for the employees of the municipal institution “Department of Social Development of the Bishkek Mayor’s office”, at which 14 social workers of four districts of the capital, headed by the Head of the DSD Bishkek Mayor’s office, Nurbek Kurmanbekov, took part.
Within the framework of the tour there was a round table in the office, visits to Shelter and Transit Social House of the center «Sezim». The purpose of this event: familiarization with the activities of the center «Sezim», the development of cooperation in the provision of social services to victims of gender-based, domestic violence and human trafficking, acquaintance with the new personnel of the DSD Bishkek.
Mr. Werner Blatter at the round table noted that for «9 years he has been watching that the potential of the CC «Sezim» is growing every year. And the consolidation of the forces of public and state organizations gives great opportunities for the development of the sphere of social services for the population of the country».
At the same day there were meetings of Mr. Werner Blatter and representatives of center “Sezim” with the Minister of Labour and Social Development of Kyrgyz Republic Taalaigul Isakunova and Head of Mission of International Organization for Migration in KR Bermet Moldobaeva.
At the MLSD of KR there was a dialogue about the problems and opportunities of state financing of social protection from gender-based, domestic violence and human trafficking
At the IOM of KR there was a talk about problems of human trafficking and vulnerable migration in Kyrgyzstan and possibilities of supporting local initiatives from the side of international communities
