AUCA student group won a grant from SIDP (Student Initiative Development Program) to train women in order to overcome the crisis situation. It is not the first project of the students, they have already implemented the summer camp String art.
Team leader of «Enactus AUCA» Diana Akimova: “During the month, two groups of 4 people will be trained in the rapid development of sewing skills according to the requirements of employers. So they will have the opportunity to find work in order to feed themselves and their children”.
Often, victims of domestic violence are together with their children financially dependent on husbands or other family members, and do not have a degree and work to get away from a situation of violence.
Based on the words of Jirgal Karasartova they chose women from crisis center, «because we want to understand the problem and be helpful for our country».
